Private School Partners
We are committed to providing our students with exceptional opportunities that inspire them to think beyond everyday school life.
Through our partnership with two of the country’s leading independent schools, St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Girls’ School, we offer an enriched educational experience beyond what is expected.
A Partnership That Broadens Horizons
Our Private School Partnership Programme is made possible via our shared foundations with the The Mercers’ Company and enhances our academic and cultural offering.
This partnership opens doors to:
- Masterclasses led by subject specialists, providing in-depth learning and academic enrichment.
- Shared teaching and learning experiences that expose students to diverse perspectives and pedagogical approaches.
- Cultural events and workshops that inspire creativity, leadership, and global awareness.
Our partnerships are a vital part of our vision to develop aspirational future citizens, young people who are equipped with the skills, confidence, and connections to succeed professionally and personally in an ever-changing world.
Highlights from the Partnership Programme
Our students benefit from a range of transformative experiences, including:
- Economics Workshop: A platform for critical thinking and problem-solving.

Wider Partnerships
We go out of our way to forge long-lasting relationships that add value and opportunity to the learning environment for our students.
We have particularly close partnerships with the academic organisations and charities, including Into University, Access Aspiration and the Social Mobility Foundation and university outreach departments to ensure that our students get the best possible opportunities for meaningful encounters, support programmes and summer schools in higher education.
Our STEM outreach programme ensures students get the opportunity to be part of Imperial College’s Makerspace, meet architects as part of our partnership with the RIBA and benefit from an ongoing programme of visits from the Construction Youth Trust.
Partnerships also extend with real energy into the arts and our students enjoy working with long-term creative partners such as the Bush Theatre, the Royal College of Music and Arts Emergency.
We are one of the British Exploring Society’s Ambassador schools in the UK, sending Sixth Form students on challenging expeditions annually, and our sporting partners include QPR and Fulham Reach Boat Club who make an important contribution to our students’ well-being and capacity to push themselves in a team.
Our partnerships help our young people to navigate challenging ideas and connections, and encourage learning, leadership and character. The quality of our relationships with organisations and people in our wider community help us to put social mobility and cultural capital centre stage for Hammersmith Academy students.
