Our Open Events are the perfect opportunity for prospective students and families to discover what makes Hammersmith Academy exceptional.
Visitors experience first-hand how we deliver academic challenge through a focused curriculum taught by expert subject specialists. You’ll also learn about the unique enrichment opportunities provided through our partnerships with St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Girls’ School, giving our students access to learning experiences few others can match.
You’ll gain insight into how we prepare students for the future through outstanding career and university guidance, led by a dedicated team of specialists and supported by deep industry and cultural links. These experiences help students to develop the skills, cultural capital, and confidence needed to thrive at university, on apprenticeships, and in professional life.
Just as importantly, our Open Events showcase the strong pastoral culture that defines life at Hammersmith Academy where students grow in confidence in a safe, supportive environment, take responsibility for their learning, and become budding citizens ready to contribute meaningfully to society.
Open Events 2026
Our series of Open Events for prospective students and parents looking to join us in September 2027 are as follows:
- Open Day – Tuesday 29 September 2026, 4-7pm
- Open Morning 1 – Thursday 8 October 2026, 9-11am
- Open Morning 2 – Tuesday 13 October 2026, 9-11am
- Sixth Form Open Day – Tuesday 6 October 2026, 4-7pm
Booking is required to attend our open events.
Admissions Coffee Mornings
For parents of younger children (Years 4 and 5) who are planning ahead, our Admissions Coffee Mornings offer a relaxed way to explore what makes our school community special.
With no more than five families attending each session, these mornings provide an opportunity to:
- Tour the Academy during a normal school day
- Meet the Admissions Team to discuss the application process
Have your questions answered by the Headteacher or a member of the Senior Leadership Team

Admissions School-In-Action Tours
We hold school tours for families looking to join the Academy throughout the academic year. These take place every Tuesday at 9am during term time.
