Our teaching and support staff are at the heart of Hammersmith Academy’s success. They bring expertise, care and commitment to every aspect of school life, from delivering high-quality, knowledge-rich lessons to providing exceptional pastoral support and day-to-day guidance.
Our teachers are subject specialists who set high expectations and inspire curiosity, ensuring every student is challenged, supported and encouraged to achieve their best. Alongside them, our skilled support staff play a vital role in creating a safe, efficient and nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, socially and personally.
Governing Body
The Hammersmith Academy Governing Body provides strategic leadership and is ultimately accountable for the Academy’s performance. Governors support the Headteacher, set the Academy’s strategic aims, approve policies and budgets, and act as a source of both challenge and support.
The board is made up of representatives from the Academy’s sponsors – The Mercers’ Company and The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists – alongside community, parent and local authority governors. This blend ensures a broad range of expertise and perspectives in guiding the Academy’s continued success.
