Hammersmith Academy celebrated its best-ever GCSE results in August 2025, marking another year of exceptional achievement and progress across every subject area.

This success lays the vital foundations for students to thrive in our Sixth Form and beyond, equipping them not only for A Level excellence, but also for top universities, competitive apprenticeships, and rewarding professional careers.

These outstanding outcomes place Hammersmith Academy within the top 15% of schools nationally for student progress, proving that students here make greater academic gains than the national average.

Outstanding Outcomes Across the Curriculum

Alongside strong overall outcomes, students achieved impressive results in core subjects and the sciences, demonstrating both breadth and academic excellence.

Hammersmith Academy has a fair banding admissions process, welcoming students across the full ability range and creating a genuinely comprehensive community. Students with strong prior attainment consistently achieve the highest GCSE grades, with many securing grades 7, 8 and 9 across a broad range of subjects.

These outcomes reflect the strength of our teaching, pastoral support and ambitious curriculum, which develops the knowledge, confidence and resilience needed for real world success.

This foundation prepares students to progress to leading universities, including Oxford and the Russell Group, as well as competitive degree apprenticeships with major employers.
